Independent Contractor RN, Certified Nursing Assistant

Positions specified as “Independent Contractor” refers to shifts provided in contracted facilities based on hospital staffing needs, but not guaranteed. General Position Summary: The Certified Nursing assistant performs basic patient care by assisting in the treatment and care of patients under the direction of a licensed nurse. The CNA provides care related but no limited to: personal hygiene, ambulation, meals and feeding of patients, accurately performs and reports vital signs and other data.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited hospital-based nursing assistant program.

License/Certification: Current and unencumbered certificate/license for CNA. American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider.

Experience: Six months in acute hospital RN experience in the unit within the last three years.

Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual, One year acute hospital RN experience in the unit within the last three years.
