Independent Contractor RN, Nursing Student to Nursing Assistant Bridge

Positions specified as “Independent Contractor” refers to shifts provided in contracted facilities based on hospital staffing needs, but not guaranteed. General Position Summary: GoRN is committed to providing paid bedside experience to the nursing student in the capacity of a nursing assistant. The nursing assistant performs basic patient care by assisting in the treatment and care of patients under the direction of a licensed nurse. The aide provides care related but no limited to: personal hygiene, ambulation, meals and feeding of patients, accurately performs and reports vital signs and other data.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Completion of the first semester of an accredited Nursing Program.

License/Certification: American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider.

Experience: Concurrent enrollment of an accredited Nursing program or successful completion within the last year (validated by an official school transcript). Will accept within last three years if obtained RN license, but not practicing.

Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual
